Frequently Asked

Questions

  • Securing your date with me is really simple and all done online on a secure client profile on my site. Booking your date takes two steps, a signed contract and booking form and a 20% deposit. Once I’ve received this I send over a bit more information about what to expect from me in the lead up to the big day!

  • Your short Teaser Film will be over within a couple of weeks of the wedding day. After this your main Highlight Film and/or Feature Film, Speeches Film etc will all be delivered online within 12 weeks of the wedding.

  • Of course, I want my couples to be 100% happy with their films so once i’ve sent over your films online and you’ve had a chance to watch them through, if you have any notes then feel free to let me know in an email and I’ll make any changes you’d like.

  • I have multiple fail safes in place on the day of the wedding to avoid scenarios like this. Having filmed weddings for over 8 years I’ve now I’ve made sure every part of the day is secure and safe and often have backups upon backups for if anything is to happen. Immediately upon my return to the office afte your weddnig I get everything safely backed up multiple times both onsite and offsite. That way if anything happens to my local copies there is always a copy elsewhere.

  • The majority of films you will have seen thus far on my site have all been captured by me as a solo videographer. For some larger weddings (120+ guests) or for weddings where there are longer distances between preparations venues n the morning or during the day then I do recommend a second videographer, of which I have a number of very talented colleagues who I can call upon.

  • Of course, I’m more than happy to travel the length and breadth of the UK and overseas to capture your day so don’t hesitate to get in touch wherever you’re celebrating the big day!

  • If you’re both getting ready at the same venue, then it’s often not a problem at all. However, if you're at different locations a fair drive apart, I can usually only assure coverage of one of you getting ready. Nevertheless, if we can manage it logistically, I'm always eager to attempt capturing both of you. Additionally, you always have the option of adding a second videographer to ensure comprehensive coverage across both locations for you.

  • I use industry standard microphones, roughly the size of a matchbox that fit neatly in a jacket pocket or on a belt loop, this then captures both your voices during your vows clear and crisp. For your Speeches I use a similiat microphone and then have a secondary back up audio recorder attached to your microphone if using a PA system. All in all it’s rarely noticed but gives the best recording for your film.
